Return Policy

The 7 day return policy apply only for items bought on ("Website"). Please read the following exchange & refund policy closely, as you ("you" or "customer") acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms laid out in this policy when you order from this website.

Customers who purchase a product from this website are able to return their product within 7 days of the product’s delivery.

  1. Conditions for an Approved Return

a) The customer must have a proof of purchase (order invoice number and receipt) that the customer has purchased from our website or showroom
b) The products must be returned to us in its original and brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear or use, including but not limited to, scratches, belt-buckle markings, scuffs, dings, and scrapes on the product or any of the related materials that came with it
c) The returned products must also include all original packaging, labels, stickers, seals, manuals, accessories, and still have their protective materials unremoved and intact
d) The products must not have been installed or had any data inputted
e) Any accompanying free gifts will also have to be returned with it


  1. Non-returnable Product Conditions
a) For hygiene reasons: Personal care products, health and fitness products
b) Once installed: All installed products and appliances
c) Once used: All electrical & kitchen appliances, IT, accessories, assembled products
d) Once opened: Any products that have a security seal that has been broken or tampered with


  1. Return Approval Process
a) The customer is to provide our customer service team with pictures and/or videos of the product/packaging
b) Should the customer service team require any additional pictures and/or videos, the customer will be required to provide more to the best of their ability
c) When the product has been ascertained as cleared for return, the customer service team will inform the customer on how to proceed


  1. Method of Return
a) Free product collection (do inform our customer service team on the details regarding arranging a collection of the product)
b) Drop off the product at our showroom (do inform our customer service team on the date and time of the planned drop off)


  1. Refund Process
a) Modern Home will reimburse the customer with a refund through the same mode of payment that was made in the original purchase
b) Depending on the mode of payment, a bank refund will usually take 3-5 working days to process


  1. Abuse of Return Policy


We’ve created this 7 day return policy to make sure our customers receive the product of their choice. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or suspend return privileges for customers who make fraudulent returns, violate and/or abuse the terms of this policy, including, but not limited to, making excessive returns, returning products that are no longer in original and brand-new condition, returning products that they have not purchased etc. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time at our discretion.
