Product Description
Indoor/Outdoor Shag Mats are made by tufting custom extruded yarns as loops onto a primary backing and then binding them onto a hardworking vinyl backing that can weather any storm outdoors and provides functionality underfoot indoors.
Chilewich shag products also contain Microban® antimicrobial protection. This is particularly beneficial for the home and hospitality markets. Microban® works continuously for the lifetime of the product to inhibit the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew.

TerraStrand‚Ñ¢, the proprietary name for Chilewich yarns, is 100% phthalate-free, lead-free and contains 25% renewable vegetable content. Using this renewable, bio-based compound results in a 40% reduction in greenhouse gases compared to other plasticizers.
Care Instructions
Vacuum, shake out, or hose off to clean. Hang to dry. Occasionally lift and air out. Hydrogen Peroxide is a bleach-free way to sanitize/disinfect your Chilewich product. We recommend that you occasionally lift, move and air out your Shag mat. Although our Shag mats are mold-resistant, the flooring beneath them may not be.
Notes before purchase
Chilewich takes pride in its high-quality product and workmanship. There is a 1cm +/- size tolerance allowed in either direction from the size as listed on the website. All Chilewich mats are made with the latest color technology to prevent fading. But, like all textiles, the mats may fade when placed under sunlight for protracted periods.
Lifestyle images may not represent the same size, colour or pattern of the product which you select. You may return your items if your product does not match the website specifications or description, we will exchange the goods for you within the days stated on this website. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.
